Kasey Desmond, Print Editor-in-Chief
On any given weekend Kasey Desmond can be found participating in a slam poetry session at an uptown coffee shop or riding a vintage tri-tandem bicycle (that’s a bike that seats three) around Lake Harriet; that is, if she’s not at a music festival in Oregon. Desmond enjoys an organic vegan diet and refuses to buy her food from anywhere but Whole Foods and a handful of local co-ops. When not chaining herself to trees in protest or creating statement art pieces from plastic water bottles and live seals, she is most likely posting on Instagram or listening to a mixtape of a band nobody’s heard of on her cassette player.  Kasey is also an animal lover and considers her golden retriever to be her closest friend.
