Rachel grew up in Idaho, where at a young age she was forced to pick potatoes to earn a living. At the age of six, she submitted her potato-on-a-stick idea to the Minnesota State Fair. Rachel won seventh place and decided to move to Minnesota. After reading The Clique, she started handing out rhinestone R pins to everyone she met. Every day spent with Rachel is a gift, especially since she has multiple near-death experiences at swim practice, during which fellow writer Chloe Kennedy has to save her life. Rachel is missing from school quite often due to her intense training to climb the largest sea mountain. Once she reaches the surface, Hermione Granger has promised Rachel the time turner necklace. With the necklace, Rachel plans to go back to the 70’s so she can wear daisy chains in her hair without being laughed at. And yes, the character Rachel from Friends is based off Rachel Frenz.
