Currently attending Benilde-St. Margaret’s to study high school student interactions, Laura Lyon majored in communications at the University of Minnesota and decided to take a year off to involve herself in a student body that is in the process of maturing. Lyon entered Benilde-St. Margaret’s as a sixteen year old, outgoing, lacrosse player. Her main groups of "friends" interact with people all over the school, enabling her to befriend many different people. To truly re-experience high school, she involved herself in Red Knight Volunteer Corps, Lacrosse, and Journalism. Journalism allows her to write secret stories of her bonds with high school students going through the most confusing yet enjoyable period of their lives.
