The annual BSM winter clothing drive is taking place from Monday, November 10 through Friday, November 14 from 8-9 AM every morning. Baskets placed in the main lobby and in the Haben Center are there for students to drop off new or gently used winter clothing items. These coats and winter clothing will be donated to Interfaith Outreach and Community Partners (IOCP) which is located in Plymouth, MN.

A group of dedicated high school juniors are organizing this drive. “We are collecting hats, mittens, boots, and coats for the IOCP resale store. A group of juniors who are on the team leadership board at IOCP are hosting this event,” Will Rosengren, a junior leader, said. These winter clothing items will benefit many people in need of new gear for the winter who would not otherwise be able to afford nice winter clothing. The clothes collected will be shipped to the resale store at IOCP where people of low incomes shop in either the food shelf or resale clothing store.
