Boys hockey shuts out SLP in last regular season game

In, their final regular season game of 2014-15, the boys hockey team shut out the St. Louis Park Orioles 8-0 on Saturday, February 14.  Senior captain Ben Newhouse had a multi-goal performance, scoring in the first and second periods.  Other than Newhouse, many other Red Knights had a goal credited for their name, including Dylan Hewitt with the first goal of the game. In the second period, Cade Gleekel and Jack Lawton both scored to make it 5-0 with 17 minutes to play.  In the third period, juniors Zach Risteau, Auggie Moore, and Jacob Holmers all put puck in net to make the final score 8-0 as they Red Knights head into the Section 6AA Playoffs as a #4 seed. BSM will play #5 seed Holy Family on Thursday, February 19, at home for the right to play Eden Prairie in the semifinals.
