The Benilde-St. Margaret’s dance team placed first in both the kick and jazz routines at the section 2AA competition at Big Lake High School on Saturday, January 31. Their section consists of 14 teams, all of which couldn’t keep up with the Knightettes’ skill and talent. This is a massive milestone and confidence booster for the Knightettes as they now have to begin preparing for the State Tournament on Friday, February 13, at the Target Center. “Practice has been getting hard and stressful lately as we near the bigger competitions, but getting first in this competition was a great morale booster for all of us. It got us excited and ready for state, and we can’t wait to get another shot at the title,” junior Livy Lange said.
