The BSM Boys Hockey team followed a loss to Blaine on Tuesday with an overtime home victory over the Jaguars of Bloomington Jefferson on Saturday, January 24.  After a first period Jefferson goal, BSM struck in the second period as Cade Gleekel and Connor Mayer assisted senior Will Duda to knot the score at one apiece. Jefferson scored 23 seconds later, but in the third period senior Carter Roo put the puck in net, assisted by Duda and Nick Austin, to send it to the extra period. In the overtime period, it took over seven minutes but senior captains Mark Kaske and Chase Jungels found junior Peter Heimbold for the game winning goal to give the Red Knights a much needed win.
