The Red Knight boys’ swim team faced off against a very tough conference opponent in Chaska-Chanhassen losing by a score of 120-49. This is the team’s second loss of the season taking their record to 0-2. Despite the score differential, a few Red Knight swimmers excelled with senior captain Kyle Johnson winning the 100 meter freestyle and junior Tommy McGinn winning the 500 meter freestyle. “It was a great performance for us. Even though we didn’t have a lot of first place finishes, we had great individual performances against the best team in the conference. We’re hoping our meet on Saturday goes well. Last year, we finished third in the invite and we are expecting to continue getting better despite our small roster,” McGinn said.

The Red Knight’s next competition is in South St. Paul for the SSP Packer invite.
