Girls hockey settles for overtime tie against Maple Grove

Last Thursday, the Red Knight girls’ hockey team wound up tying Maple Grove after a long overtime battle. Both teams scored goals at the beginning of the first period, and BSM took scored again in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. Maple Grove tied it up 2-2 in the 16th minute of the third period. The game went into overtime, but there were no goals scored and the game ended in a tie. “We played hard the entire game, but we just couldn’t put it in the net late in the game,” said senior captain Xandi Swedberg.
