The Knightettes suffer their first second place finish as the varsity team succumbs to host Chaska by a difference of 7 points in the first kick competition of the season on Thursday, December 11. The JV team earned the same spot losing to Chaska as well. The competition teams are judged in a 500 point system, and the Knightettes came up short in the scoring. But despite this shortcoming, senior captain Margaux Brink is still confident the team can have a very successful season. “Im a little disappointed, but now it more motivation to work harder” said Brink.
