Girls basketball defeats Maranatha by comfortable margin

The 3-0 Girls Basketball team added another win to their record against the 1-1 Maranatha Mustangs in a 99-83 victory on Tuesday, December 9th.  In the first half the Red Knights pulled ahead of the mustangs proving to be the better team ending the first half with a 53-35 lead.  The mustangs came out in the second period with a new mindset closing the gap between the two teams. In the end the Red Knights were able to hold onto the lead continuing their winning streak. Seniors Sidney Libel and Gretchen Sattler lead the team in scoring both scoring 26 points throughout the game. “Our transition was really good and we ran the floor really well. We were hitting our shots and were not forcing or rushing anything. We remained calm even though the atmosphere was crazy,” Sattler said.
