The football versus girls’ soccer game turned out to be quite the competitive game. The girls’ went up 1-0 with a goal from junior Aleksa Tataryn in the first ten minutes of the game. Senior goaltender Conor Deterding just couldn’t quite get his fingers on it. The next goal came from a long ball from senior Blaise Fitzgerald to senior Chris Philbin. Chris used his speed to fly by the girls’ defenders to score bottom corner. His celebration was equally as impressive as his shot. The girls’ were infuriated, protesting that it was offsides, but used their frustration to their advantage and added two more goals to their tally with the game finishing 3-1 in favor of the girls soccer team.
