Registration for Father Daughter Dance due tomorrow

Even though it seems Holiday Ball just happened, the Father/ Daughter Dinner Dance is approaching in a less than a month. The dance is not until March 7, but table assignments and online registrations must be submitted by tomorrow online and the Spirit Shop. Tables consist of ten people, usually five dads and five daughters.

The online signup process for the dance requires the daughters registering both themselves and their fathers for the dance, and choosing which option of food they would like. The options are either bow tie pasta with vegetables in a sundried tomato cream sauce or grilled salmon with steamed red potatoes and fresh vegetables. All meals will also be served with a green salad and dessert at the end of the meal. “The food is really good. The dessert is the best,” junior Jocelyn Puhl said.

The attire for the dads is a sport coat or suit with a suit and tie, and the daughters wear semi-formal dresses.

Most daughters enjoy the night dancing with their dads. “You don’t have to worry about your dad embarrassing you because all the dads are embarrassing. I also like how you can win prizes, hang out with friends. It is fun all night long,” junior Leah Robinson.
