In their third game of the 2013-2014 season, the Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls’ hockey team dominated Eagan by a score of 8-2 to improve their record to 3-0. The Eagan Wildcats, ranked 19th in class AA, found themselves overwhelmed by the offensive firepower of the top–ranked Red Knights and surrendered four first period goals. The Red Knights were far from finished, scoring four more goals in the second period to carry a commanding 8-1 lead into the third and final frame. Kippin Keller and Kelly Pannek lead the charge for Benilde, chipping in two goals each in the victory. Up next, the Red Knights will look to hold onto their number one ranking in a rivalry game against sixth ranked Wayzata. The game will be played at the St. Louis Park Rec Center on November 21st at 7 pm.
