Freshman food drive and Freshtival to be held Friday

On Friday, October 25, the freshmen will partake in a food drive for PRISM Food Shelf by driving from house to house in small groups around various metro neighborhoods. Afterwards, all the participating students will return to BSM where the Freshtival will be held for pizza, games, and activities such as a bouncy castle, a bonfire, and tie-dye stations with junior and senior Link Crew leaders.

Both the food drive and Freshtival allow the students to get know their class better in a safe environment. “The whole class does the food drive as a community project to see what kind of effect they can all have on the community. The Freshtival serves to bring the freshmen together to do fun and safe things while getting to know each other,” Ms. Nicole Rasmussen, Assistant Principal, Freshman Dean and Link Crew Coordinator, said
