The girls’ swim team is taking down the competition with their 3-1 record. The team is was very eager to continue its winning ways as last weekend the team attended the Catholic Cup, an invite open to all the catholic schools in the metro area to go. Only the teams’ top players are invited and BSM placed 4th out of 7 teams. St. Thomas’ pool is the fastest pool in the country, “It was a really amazing experience to be able to swim in a pool like that” said Katie Wagner. The captains this year are Anna McGuinn and Megan Pohle, very strong captains with great leadership. “We have a lot of young talent on the team and overall I’m really excited to see where the season takes us and see if we can do as well as last season and have a lot of fun,” said Pohle.
