On the morning of September 12, all BSM juniors gathered in the Hamburg Theatre for a meeting with the college and career counselors about what they need to do to be prepared for college within this school year. With Mrs. Amy Larson, Mrs. Amanda Anderson, and Mr. Chuck Mannie leading the meeting, juniors were informed about upcoming SAT/ACT practice test dates and how to best prepare themselves for the PSAT, or pre-SAT, which takes place during the half-day on October 16. “I think that the meeting should have been more informative rather than giving us information we already know or could have found on our own, but it was a good opportunity to get to know the college counselors and they did stress the importance of SAT/ACT testing, ” junior Maddy Rockhold said.
