Girls’ tennis victorious against Providence Academy

The girls tennis team has gone up against some fierce competition in the last few weeks and for the majority have come away victorious with a record of ten wins and only two losses against the likes of Edina and Chanhassen. Last night, September 25, the team beat Providence Academy 5-2. Only third and fourth doubles lost, showing that the the team has the depth to go far. Sections starts on October first, and with only three more matches to be played, the Red Knights are ranked fourth in state putting them in good position for the post season. “We are excited for the tough competition, it’s going to be a challenge but exciting,” says sophomore Jordan Sims.
