Boys’ lacrosse notches first win of the year vs. Mahtomedi

A four-goal third quarter, three coming from senior captain Rob Lance, helped the Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys’ lacrosse team stop its two-game losing streak to begin the season. Lance ended the night with 5 goals and led the Red Knights to a 10-7 victory over the Mahtomedi Zephyrs.

The Zephyrs pulled within a goal late in the fourth quarter but goals by Lance and junior Harrison Grones sealed the win for the Red Knights. The Red Knights will face Apple Valley on Saturday April 27 as they look to pull to .500.
