Every week during the school year, Kare 11 presents a high school senior with the Academic All Star award, and after being nominated by her teachers, Anne Arnason received last week’s award. In order to be nominated, Arnason, whose resume includes Red Knight Volunteer Corps, peer ministry, Link Crew, National Honor Society, soccer, hockey and track, had to maintain a 3.5 or higher GPA, while being involved in sports or other extracurricular activities. She was on the news on Monday, September 17 at 6:10 am and 5 pm. “I’m really honored to get this award, especially because there are so many great students here at BSM,” Arnason said.
