Throughout the movie, many comical scenes such as this one of Santa eating cookies during a tough situation will pop up.

Cozying up and watching a fun Christmas movie is one of my favorite ways to celebrate the Christmas season. Recently, I got the opportunity to watch a new Christmas movie called Dashing Through the Snow.

It was such a good movie and it kept me entertained and engaged. I’m not going to lie, when starting the movie, I had low expectations. This is because the kids I was babysitting chose the movie, and I don’t always love the movies they choose but I was surprised. It was actually a fun movie filled with lots of Christmas spirit. I normally zone out during movies, because I hate sitting still for so long, but this movie was so interesting that I actually watched it.

The plot was definitely made to accommodate the wants of many viewers. The movie included fighting between parents, divorced parents falling in love all over again, reindeer attacking bad guys with hilarious karate moves. It also had heartwarming parts, such as a little girl receiving her very own puppy from Santa Claus at the end of the movie. So no matter what type of movie you are in the mood for, this one could definitely fill your needs.

Being happy is one of my well known personality traits, so the movies that I like have to end on a happy note. This one definitely did. Love was rekindled, a little girl was made happy, and Santa Claus was saved. Yes, the movie had some sad parts, but it ended happily which is all that matters to me.

This movie was just so spirited and made me feel like a little kid. I was on Santa’s side the entire time, and wanted everything to work out in his favor. Normally I just watch a movie and don’t get attached to the characters, but with this movie, I actually felt compelled to root for Santa.

The only part that I didn’t like about the movie was that there were some boring parts of the movie that felt long. However, right when I would start to get bored with the movie, an adventure filled scene would come on, and I would regain my happiness. I would also gain back my interest in the movie, because I was waiting for the next adventurous scene.

So, if you are struggling to find a new fun Christmas movie that is family friendly, I highly recommend Dashing Through the Snow, because of its light tone, funny jokes, and happy ending.
