Sophomore breaks school two-mile time

On Tuesday, April 8, at the Spring Lake Park track meet, sophomore Mae Fullerton broke the school record for the two mile run. The previous record was 11:50, but Fullerton ran a 11:49 to beat the record by one second. Ideally, Fullerton hopes that she will improve a little bit every meet and be able to break more records in future. “It’s always hard and nerve-racking going into the races, but I did what I needed to do and didn’t feel totally dead at the end.” (abe fortier)
