This honor marks the second consecutive year in which the Sangraal has been nationally recognized by the Josten’s Look Book for their cover design.

The Benilde-St. Margaret’s Sangraal yearbook has been selected to be featured in the Josten’s National “best of the best” publication, the “Look Book.” The 2013 BSM yearbook cover is featured in the Cover Gallery section of the prestigious Josten’s publication.

“It is a significant achievement for our staff to be repeatedly recognized on a national level,” art teacher and yearbook-Sangraal advisor Ms. Kelli Rahn said in a letter. “It reflects the hard work and time and effort we put into the yearbook. It takes a lot more work than one would think.”

A team of Josten’s experts and professionals selected 426 yearbooks from approximately 3,000 submitted for consideration to be included in the current publication. To apply for a spot in the Look Book, schools simply have to send in pages from their yearbook.

Senior Maddie Whitmore is among the yearbook staffers who is excited about the award. “I think the yearbook carries very good aspects throughout the book each year,” Whitmore said. “The editors and staff members are all very dedicated to the book and making each book carry great content, coverage and a great wrap up of the year.”
