2013 Homecoming representatives chosen by student body

After voting during homeroom on Tuesday, Homecoming representatives from each grade and senior candidates for Homecoming King and Queen were revealed during seventh period announcements later that day. Freshmen Jordin Simms and Jake Allar, sophomores Joy Stock and Jacob Fleming, and junior twins Leni and Sam Merriam will all be representing their respective classes during a ceremony on the first day of Homecoming Week. “I wouldn’t have considered myself the type of person that others would vote for, but overall I’m honored,” sophomore class representative Joy Stock said.

Along with the underclassmen representatives, senior candidates for Homecoming King and Queen were also announced to the student body. The senior class voted on six girls and six boys who they believed would make good royalty. Girls chosen include Hollie Christensen, Jacqueline Bieter, Kelly Pannek, Grace Keers, Grace Moran, and Sarah Hoesley, while the boys chosen are Wyatt Satre, Colin Polarek, Jack Jablonski, Gibson Reine, Isaiah Beise, and Christian DuLaney. The entire high school student body will vote on these twelve candidates before Homecoming Week kicks off on Monday, September 16, and the boy and girl with the most votes will be chosen as King and Queen during corination that same Monday.
