Red Knights shutout Stars

After Jimmy Cron’s one-hitter against Irondale, Mike Kaminski continued the trend of good pitching only giving up three hits and three walks with seven strikeouts coming one out short from a complete game. The Red Knights outhit the Stars thirteen to three with freshman Riley Simonetti collecting three of those hits in his first career varsity start. Simonetti went 3-for-3 with two singles and a double and was one of five Red Knights who had multi-hit games. The Red Knights are scheduled to play Bloomington Jefferson on Wednesday May 22 to conclude their regular season.
