March 16th marked a proud day for the BSM track team when four of its members, senior Anne Arnason, sophomores Peri Warren and Jordan Maddaus, and freshman LaShauna Porter placed 1st and broke the Conference record in the 4×100 relay at the track Conference meet. “It felt good to break the Conference record as well as the school record. Relays involve a lot of teamwork, and it was important for Anne, as she’s a senior, to win. The addition of LaShauna as a freshman really helped us take our team to the next level,” said sophomore Peri Warren. Next, the track team will be heading to the Track and Field section meet, where they are confident that they can imitate this success.
