Red Knights unable to hold lead against Wayzata

Holding a 7-0 lead going into the bottom of the forth, victory seemed certain for the Red Knights, but the Wayzata Trojans put across 14-runs in the next two innings to take the lead and eventually won 14-9. Mike Kaminski was solid for the Red Knights through his first three innings until the Trojan bats came alive and the Red Knights had no answer. Juniors Keaton Studsrud and Mikey McGill had good days at the plate and Kaminski collected two hits. The loss ends the Red Knight’s three-game winning streak as the team returns to conference play as they will face the Fridley Tigers on May 8.
