I absolutely love acoustic covers, especially when they’re of well-known pop songs. If you already love a song to begin with, hearing a mellow acoustic version of it just gives you an incentive to love it even more. The best is even discovering an acoustic cover of a rap song, like Ed Sheeran’s mashup of “Thrift Shop” and “No Diggity.” Acoustic covers give a song a whole different feel and even make you notice other great things such as certain lyrics that stand out. Finding acoustic covers has almost become a slight addiction of mine––I can proudly say that I have a huge playlist dedicated to them in my iTunes library.
