BSM students chosen to participate in We Day

On Wednesday February 6, 25 students from BSM will be participating in an event called We Day. A branch organization of Canada’s “Free the Children” organization, We Day calls schools who have students who are excellent servant leaders and participate in a variety of volunteer opportunities. We Day is the launch to a bigger event which will be held next October. Schools need to earn tickets to this event, so the fact that BSM students and teachers were chosen to attend We Day reflects highly on the servant leadership programs in the school. “Free the Children feels firmly that children have the potential to change the world, and We Day is making that happen,” said Mrs. Lenhart-Murphy, a religion teacher in charge of We Day participants.
