Benilde- St. Margaret’s varsity girls’ basketball defeated North Branch 44-31 on Thursday January 10. The girls played on their home court which gave them an advantage throughout the game. “It seems that we do better when we are on our home court because we have more fans. When we have more fans then we want to do better, they are good motivation,” junior Molly Kopp said. The girls were up at half and continued their triumph over the North Branch girls. “We were already confident going into the game, coming from a win just two days earlier. We really played as a team,” sophomore Sidney Leibl said.
