On Dec. 15, the Knightettes competed in their fifth competition of the season at Academy of Holy Angels high school in Richfield. Consisting of 18 schools including Chaska, Fairbault, and Austin, this was one the largest competitions they had competed in yet. This was the first time that BSM competed against Chaska, who won state last year in jazz over the Knightettes. When results were announced, Benilde won 5th in kick, only a slim three points away from Austin (4th) and eight points from Fairbault (3rd). Benilde-St. Margaret’s won 2nd place in varsity jazz and 1st place in junior varsity jazz, a good start to a long season of competition ahead.
