Red Knights fall to Stars

Andrew Birkeland, Staff Writer

The Red Knights returned to action to face the Holy Angels Stars. The Red Knights played well against one of the top teams in Class 3A throughout the first half and at times held a brief lead. The 26-20 halftime lead for Holy Angels was reduced to one during the second half, but a shooting slump hurt the Red Knights and allowed the Stars to open up an insurmountable lead, with the final score being 60-46 in favor of Holy Angels. Junior guards Colin Polarek (11 points) and Sam Lynch (9 points) were the leading scorers for the Red Knights while the Stars had three scorers in double-digits.
