Kare 11 evening news anchor, Randy Shaver, spoke to the BSM Communications Club and other students interested in journalism. On Tuesday, December 4, Mr. Shaver gathered with these students in the Hamburg Theater to discuss his career in journalism, and to encourage young writers to pursue this career if they are dedicated to it. His goal was to give advice to students, and also to give them an opportunity to discover whether or not journalism is a possible career path for them. “You’re not going to figure out your life right now, but you’ve got to have a plan, and you have to know that the plan will change,” Mr. Shaver said.
