The undefeated Red Knights, ranked second in the state, shutout the Lakeville North Panthers, who are ranked fourth, 3-0 in a duel of top five teams. Junior forward Brittany Wheeler led the Red Knights with two goals, one in the first period and the other coming in the second; senior defenseman Sara Taffe notched an assist on both of Wheeler’s goals. Junior forward Caitlin Reilly added a late goal in the third period and now leads the team in goals after scoring nine goals in the first six games. Junior forward Kelly Pannek got two assists to lead the team with 16 points for the year. And junior goalie Abbey Miller provided more than enough support, saving 29 shots on goal while also achieving her second shutout in five starts this year.
