Students to wear bow-ties in support of Mr. Le

To honor and support Mr. Viet Le, a valued member of the Benilde-St. Margaret’s faculty, the math department has organized for students to wear bow-ties on Tuesday, November 27. The event serves to encourage Mr. Le, a devoted math teacher and bow-tie lover, through his recovery after being hospitalized earlier this month. “We wanted to do something to show widespread support for Mr. Le”, said Mr. Dan Bowler, a fellow math teacher. The event is all-inclusive, as the department will provide paper bow-ties to those who don’t own them. In addition, pictures will be taken throughout the school day, showcasing student’s support for a beloved teacher. “Brighten up Mr. Le’s day,” Mr. Bowler said.
