The Paper Kites – “Willow Tree March”

Unsigned Australian band The Paper Kites released their “Woodland” EP in August of last year. This EP boasts many excellent folk/indie songs with “Willow Tree March” being one of the best. The song starts out peacefully, but soon goes into a rush of folk-sounding beats contrasted with mellow lyrics in between. Their newest EP “Young North,” which is equally phenomenal, came out just this past September and asserts the band’s promising outlook in the indie-folk world.
