Pannek commits to University of Minnesota for women’s hockey

On Saturday, September 15, junior Kelly Pannek committed to play Division I hockey for the University of Minnesota. Pannek has been a captain of the varsity girls’ team since her sophomore year, remaining a key player since her freshman season. Pannek began playing varsity hockey in eighth grade for Robbinsdale Cooper, and plays for the highly competitive Minnesota Junior Whitecaps in the off season. During her two years at BSM, Pannek has received All Conference twice, All State as a sophomore and the team MVP award. Pannek will join BSM alum Jordyn Burns, who is transferring from Syracuse to play for the Gophers.
