After starting the season strong and compiling a 12-2-0 conference record, the BSM baseball team has won the North Suburban Conference. Prior to Friday’s game, there was a possibility the Red Knights could tie with Robbinsdale Cooper for the title, but after defeating Totino-Grace 6-4 on May 18, BSM claimed sole possession of the conference. “[I’m] very excited to win the conference championship,” said head coach Mr. Greg Hoemke “I think this is the strongest team we’ve had, since I’ve been head coach, in terms of having a chance to win a few games in the playoffs….this is a team that I think has the potential to go somewhere.” BSM’s overall record is 17-3-0.
