Girls’ basketball gets big contribution from bench

Despite playing without senior forward Khadijah Shumpert and sophomore guard Grace Coughlin, the girls’ basketball team pulled off a 61-28 win over Columbia Heights on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Although the halftime score stood at only 25-13, the Red Knights scored another 36 points before the game ended, including 29 points by players coming off the bench. Senior guard Josie Dillon scored a game high 16 points, followed on the Red Knights by senior center Alexa Hansen with 9. Freshman forward Sydney Liebl also scored in her third game, finishing with 2 points.
