Labosky to Besse connection leads boys’ hockey past Chisago

Junior forward Grant Besse tallied two goals, junior forward Daniel Labosky had three assists, and the boys’ hockey team beat Chisago Lakes 5-0 at Chisago Lakes Ice Arena on Feb. 14. The scoring started early for the Red Knights as Besse buried a pass from Labosky just five minutes into the first period. BSM scored again a minute later, and added a third goal in the final minute of the period. Besse got a goal on the power play midway through the second period. Senior forward Christian Horn scored the lone goal of the third, and Chisago Lakes was unable to mount a comeback. Junior goalie Justin Quale got the win, and BSM improved to 18-6-0 overall while remaining undefeated in conference play.
