Pannek’s ninth hat trick contributes to girls’ hockey win

The number two ranked Red Knights defeated the Spring Lake Park Panthers 6-0 on Thursday. Sophomore Kelly Pannek scored her ninth hat trick of the season, and sophomore goalie Abbey Miller recorded her sixth shutout. BSM came out strong in the first period, seeing goals from Pannek and junior Sara Taffe, ending the period with a 2-0 score. In the second period, the Red Knights scored three goals, two from Pannek and one from sophomore Brittany Wheeler. In the third period, Wheeler scored her second goal of the game, wrapping up the scoring early in the third period.
