Besse’s five goals more than enough against Jefferson
February 1, 2012
Coming off of a four goal loss to Moorhead, the boys’ hockey team bounced back against Bloomington Jefferson, defeating the Jaguars by a final score of 7-1. After giving up an early lead, the Red Knights tied it at one off of a goal from junior forward Grant Besse. Besse added four goals after that, giving him 92 in his career, a school record. The Red Knights also received great goal tending from senior Anders Jecha, who had 20 saves on 21 shots. BSM was great on special teams, killing off all three Jaguar power plays and scored on 30% of their own man advantages.
