The number-one ranked Red Knights defeated Chisago Lakes 9-0 in their game on January 17. Junior Anne Arnason got the first goal, just minutes into the first period, followed by another goal from eighth grader McKenzie Steffen. Sophomore Ali Praus ended the first period with a goal, putting BSM up by three. Early in the second period, junior Bailey Forcier scored, immediately followed by an amazing goal from senior Aly Hoffman. Arnason scored her second goal of the game at the end of the second. To end the period, sophomore Kelly Pannek scored, putting the Red Knights up 7-0. Pannek scored again in the beginning of the second period, followed by a goal from senior Cat Kernan. The Red Knights finished the game with a 9-0 victory, and sophomore goalie Abby Miller picked up her fifth shut out of the season.
