Every holiday season the Macy’s department store transforms its eighth floor into an expansive “Santaland” complete with a free walk-through presentation of Christmas scenes, a delicious bakery, and a colorful gift shop. This year’s theme, “A Day in the Life of and Elf,” depicts the magical tale of Santa’s elves. The North Pole setting places guests in the midst of a colorful candy factory and an enchanting evergreen forest. Guests are welcome to finish the presentation with a picture on Santa’s lap and indulge in a holiday treat from Mrs.Claus’ Bakery filled with fresh gingerbread cookies and other holiday assortments. On the way out be sure to stop by Santa’s Toy Shop selling many family friendly gifts for a reasonable price.
