In light of bullying awareness, students pledge to non-violence

After the anti-bullying speaker earlier in the week, BSM students embraced the spirit of October––bullying awareness month––and wore orange on Friday to support a safe school environment. Teachers and students alike enhanced this anti-bullying motto by encouraging mix-it-up day––students had to sit next to different people in the classroom and thus make relationships with different people. This change was especially pressurized in the lunchroom, as students of all different grades converged in the commons. Students also signed a pledge to non-violence during their lunch hour to keep the school safe for all.
