While students were making their last minute plans for Homecoming, Mr. John Sabol, Business Education teacher at Benilde-St. Margaret’s, was wed to his fiancée, Shanna Orr. The ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Lourdes in Downtown Minneapolis, and a reception followed at the Nicollet Island Pavilion. “[The ceremony] went very well, but [there was] one hiccup at the end when the deacon announced us as Mr. and Mrs. John and Shanna Orr, which is her maiden name,” said Mr. Sabol. “It was a lot of fun and everyone had a good time, but I guess we’re taking her last name,” said Mr. Sabol.
