Boys’ soccer destroys Columbia Heights

The boys varsity soccer team had a quick and aggressive start, leading them to their 7-0 victory over Columbia Heights on Thursday, Sept. 15. The first goal for the Red Knights was scored by senior midfielder Dan Lundberg in the tenth minute.  This was followed by goals from senior midfielder Johnny Mulvahill, senior striker Jake Horton, senior striker Luke McCormick, and senior midfielder Paul Kretsch.  The Hylanders had a difficult time mounting any attack against the solid defense of senior Paul Graupner, senior Ben Rosengren, and junior Jason Kosch.  Any balls that did slip through were quickly stopped by senior goalie Alex Leiter.  With this win, the Red Knights remain undefeated and improve their record to 7-0-1, while remaining in a tie for first in their conference with Fridley.
