Boys’ lacrosse defeats Eden Prairie

The boys’ varsity lacrosse team defeated the Eden Prairie Eagles in their fifth win of the season on April 25. The match-up included the top two ranked teams in state––Red Knights #1, Eagles #2. After the first quarter, each team had two goals on the board, but the Red Knights gained speed and the Eagles quickly fell behind with a final score of 10 to 6. Top scorers for the Red Knights included Senior Taylor Topousis, and Juniors Will Hoesley and Simon Gondeck, each with two goals. Peter Schubloom also had three assists. The Red Kinghts hope to continue their winning streak against up coming opponents Irondale and Breck this week.
