The Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys’ Soccer team improved to 8-3-1 with a 1-0 win over Robbinsdale Cooper. The game’s sole goal was scored by Benilde-St. Margaret’s senior captain Taras Tataryn in the first minute of the game. “We scored right off the bat which was really good, but Cooper came out hard and never gave up. They pressured us hard and prevented us from playing [to our full] potential,” junior defenseman Abe Fortier said. All in all, the boys soccer team is looking strong this year and hope to compete for a section, and possibly state, title.
