In a battle against the Bloomington Kennedy Eagles, the Red Knights competed well but were unable to string enough runs together to come up with the win. The Red Knights took an early lead ending the first inning with a 1-0 lead. In the 3rd inning the Red Knights lost their focus giving up 2 runs falling behind 2-1 unable to regain the lead later in the game despite competing well. When the game was finished the red knights suffered their 3rd loss of the season bringing their record to 2-3. “ We got a lot of big hits but they would make big plays and kill the momentum,” senior captain Riley Crane said.
